Biography

Sasan’s undergraduate studies are in electronics and communication engineering. He obtained his Masters and Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Luxembourg in 2015 and 2020 respectively. During his postgraduate studies he has contributed to various mobility related projects. For his Masters’ thesis Sasan worked on security of automotive embedded systems and connected vehicles. His doctorate research was focused on driver modelling and in particular application of machine learning algorithms for driver identification and distraction detection. After obtaining his Ph.D. Sasan joined Motion-S S.A. to lead the data science team and soon after he was appointed as CTO.
